The Church's year starts with the first Sunday of Advent.​

  • Advent - four weeks of preparation before the celebration of Jesus' birth
  • Dec 8:  The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception
  • Christmas - recalling the Nativity of Jesus Christ and his manifestation to the peoples of the world
    • December 25th:  the Solemnity of the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ
  • January 1st:  the Solemnity of Mary the Mother of God
  • Epiphany
  • Presentation of the Lord
  • Lent - a six-week period of penance before Easter
    • Ash Wednesday
    • Palm Sunday
  • Sacred Paschal Triduum - the holiest "Three Days" of the Church's year, where the Christian people recall the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
    • Holy Thursday & Mass of the Lord's Supper
    • Good Friday of the Lord's Passion
    • Easter Saturday - Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord
    • Easter Sunday - Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord
    • 18 Questions on the Triduum
  • Easter - 50 days of joyful celebration of the Lord's resurrection from the dead and his sending forth of the Holy Spirit
    • Ascension of the Lord
    • Pentecost
  • Ordinary Time - divided into two sections (one span of 4-8 weeks after Christmas Time and another lasting about six months after Easter Time), wherein the faithful consider the fullness of Jesus' teachings and works among his people
    • August 15th the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
    • November 1st:  the Solemnity of All Saint's Day

The Feast of Christ the King ends the Liturgical year and is followed by Advent.
